Yoga teachers live their yoga practices and attempt to teach that way of life. These teachers apply the ethical and spiritual principles of yoga to their own lives and their instruction.

For example, the Yoga Sutras describe yoga as having eight limbs, so a classical yoga teacher would include these limbs as part of their instruction. In addition to teaching asanas and pranayama (breathing exercises), the instructor would also include yamas and niyamas (virtues and rules of living), pratyahara (control of the senses), dharana (inner awareness), dhyana (devotion) and samadhi (union with the Divine).

In it’s best manifestation, a yoga teacher is someone who stands witness with you and steadily points the way to your own empowerment.

Classes

You can sign up for classes online through our MindBody app (Kodawari Studios), through MindBody directly or in person in the studio. All classes will be shown online and any changes will appear on the weekly schedule.

If you book a class but don’t show up, you will not be charged.
If you have booked online, you need to be at the studio and check-in at least 10 minutes before the class starts. If you come as a drop-in yogi, you need to be here at least 10 min before to ensure your space and have time to check-in, take care of yourself and get your mat down.

 

We reserve the right to take photos in the studio and to share these photos on social media.

 

Conditions for Class Cards

Class Cards with 5, 10 and 20 classes expire after 1 year. There is a $50 reinstatement fee for expired classes.

The New Student BOGO offer is a one-time offer to new yogis and can only be bought one time. $20 and gets you two classes for the price of one.

The New Student 30-day Month Unlimited offer expires after 30 days. This is a one-time offer to new yogis and can only be bought one time. Purchases are binding. They can not be put on a friend’s profile or refunded.

Class cards can be shared between two people. An active credit card must be kept on file.
All class cards become active from your first booking, not the day of purchase.

Conditions for Auto-pay Memberships

Auto-pay memberships options give you a range of access to yoga practice on a monthly basis and offer you discounts on all services and non-food products. The membership can start on any day of the month. All memberships (with the exception of the 1-and-Done) require 30 days email notice to info@kodawariyoga.com to terminate. Auto-pay memberships are active from the day you buy it, not from the day you have your first booking!

On the day of purchase, you sign the contract for your preferred membership, associate an active credit card to your profile and pay for that 1 month of practice. Thereafter you pay each month the assigned price for your chosen membership. The money is automatically collected using your credit card. The automatic payments will continue until you cancel your membership.

 

It is possible to put your membership on hold 2 times per calendar year for a total of a 1 month period. You can do this via an email request to info@kodawariyoga.com or in person at the studio.

Please note: we do not keep your credit card info in our own database. Our payment provider keeps the info in their highly secure and certified systems.

 

Rules for Traveling Yogi 1 Week Pass
The Traveling Yogi Pass gives you unlimited access to yoga classes for 1 week (7 days). The 1 Week Pass can not be extended, put on hold and is personal. It can only be purchased 12 times in a calendar year and you must provide proof of out-of-state residency. The weekly pass is activated from the day, you make your first booking.

Conditions for Events
Event registration is personal and binding. You can sign up for workshops online or in the studio.

Should you be unable to participate in the workshop you have signed up for, send an email to info@kodawariyoga.com at least 48 hours before the workshop to get your money back minus 10% in administration fee.

We reserve the right to take photos and film during all events.

Conditions for Trainings
A $500 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration to reserve your space.

The deposit may be paid online or in person with cash, check or credit card. Remaining cost may be paid in full or can be broken down into 4 payments and can be paid online, in person with check or credit card. Please make all checks out to Kodawari Studios.

*Full tuition must be received one full month prior to completion of your chosen program.

Cancelation Policy
Should you have to withdraw from the program before it begins, you’ll receive a refund, minus a $500 administrative fee, according to this schedule:

An applicant denied admission by the school is entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.

3 Day Cancellation: An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation within 3 business days of signing the enrollment agreement is entitled to a refund of all monies, less a $250 administrative fee, paid no later than 30 days after receiving the notice of cancellation. The 3 Day Cancellation Rule excludes, Saturday, Sunday and Federal and State holidays.
Other Cancellations:
An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation of the program more than 3 business days after signing an enrollment agreement and with a minimum of 24 hours prior to the start of the program is entitled to a refund of all monies paid less an administrative fee of $500.

If less than a 24 hour time period is given for cancellation, a 50% tuition fee will be imposed.
If canceling after program begins: full deposit and a $25-per-hour prorated fee for teaching hours received will be imposed.

Conditions for Gift Certificates

The Gift Certificate can be used to buy any and all products and services available at Kodawari Studios. The certificate expires 1 year from the day of purchase.
Terms for payments
Credit Card payments are charged the same business day. Credit card refunds take 5-7 business days. We accept cash, check, American Express, MasterCard and Visa credit cards.

We use a secure system for payment and all information including bank information will be encrypted.
