Invest in Mastery

Watering Seeds of Transformation is the advanced portion of our yoga teacher training program, The Foundations for the Mindful Teacher. It is specifically designed to accelerate your evolution as a teacher and a person. We’ve created the context for deepening your personal practices while increasing your capacity to skillfully guide a student into the mystery, wonder and beauty of the sacred technology of yoga. You will receive the guidance, tools and information needed to become a master teacher in your own right. It’s a transformational process geared toward adult learners where the outcome is the rich, uniquely dynamic expression and manifestation of yourself.

Training Modules

We’ve built our Advanced Study Program around the drop-in concept. There are required modules you need to take and electives that you choose to take which allows you to customize your learning. Each module spans anywhere from 2-4 hours or 2-to-4 days in length and are generally offered over a weekend. In this very flexible modular program, you get to decide which particular module you take, when both time and finances allow. You have 3 years to complete the required and elective modules although some students do it within 2 years…Modules are generally open to the public as well, so you will be joined by experienced teachers as well as aspiring enthusiasts. If, after taking modules as a “public” student, you decide to pursue  a 300 Hour Certification – know that you can retroactively include the modules you’ve already taken over the past 12 months.

You will be given detailed and specific guidance on how to build on your existing skills while expanding your knowledge and prowess with topics such as yoga philosophy, sequencing, voice modulation, contemplative practices, anatomy and biomechanics, yoga psychology as well as how to authentically brand and market yourself as a teacher.

Overall the training is constructed to have an interdependent focus on mindfulness, deep listening and radical respect for oneself and others. Each module (required or elective) illustrates the progression toward deeper truths of how an integrated, alignment-based practice promotes a safe, healing, life-affirming style of yoga.
