I grew up playing multiple sports but soccer was my true love. I continue to play soccer and have added racquetball, swimming and yoga to my exercise regime. I was first introduced to yoga, via my friends in New York City. My very first class was a Power 90 minute class, with 70 or so advanced yogis. This class provided me with a mental and physical high that I had not felt before. After a mentally challenging few years, I wanted to make sure i had an outlet, to not only practice yoga but also to be able to give back to my community. I have continued to practice for over 5 years and continue to grow in my practice.
TRAINING | E-RYT 200. 200hr yoga teacher training certification in 2016, which I completed and now have aspirations of completing the E-RYT 500.
TEACHING SYTLE | The first yoga classes I participated in were Baptise Power Vinyasa Yoga style classes, with an emphasis on power and athleticism. I have continued to practice with this type of yoga; however, I have also found the benefits of a slower pace style, connectivity to my breath and a rejuvenating approach to my teaching. Currently, I teach Flow 1 classes, with a slower more rejuvenating approach and an emphasis on breath and flow.
